Captain, a definite barn fave! Sir Captain is roughly 20 years old and retired from the show life. He loves teaching new riders at home everything from the very beginning as well as helping riders gain confidence as he still enjoys tooling around the 2' things every now and again. Captain is our #1 for lessons as we have been doing this together since 2012!
Freddie is a fabulous OTTB born 2/15/2011. Freddie aka Indie has been with HMF since 2021 and has been such a great addition to the lesson program. He will happily tote around the smallest beginner in one ride over ground poles and small x-rails, and then boogie shoot around a 3' course with Ms. J. Cranky acting, he is really hiding his very soft mushy side!
Guinness is another fan favorite at the barn, from littles all the way to the advanced riders. Guinness is an OTTB and has been with HMF since just 5 years old in 2016 and has seen many riders both during his development in the earlier years, and now at 12, he is living his best life as baby sitter for the novice and adult ammies, as well as bring Ms. E to new heights in her riding career.
Bronte is all baby OTTB, but growing brain cells every day! To be around him, you can't help but smile, all he wants is to Snuggle with you! Born 3/7/17, I fell in love with him so much when he came home Feb 2021, I immediately tasked my contact with finding me a sibling. His easy going attitude, and ability to take a joke will keep him a barn favorite for years to come.
Jessie, another OTTB who came home December 2021 at 4yo, has been amazing to work with. She shares many of the awesome characteristics of her half brother Bronte, but as a mare, seems to pick up the tasks a little quicker without as much straying of attention. She is shaping up to be a fantastic asset to the HMF team.
Karen or Kare-Bear came home to HMF in Nov 2022, a 2005 OTTB Model, she was more than happy for her 3rd career. She has been amazing for the intermediate and advanced riders, and is falling in love with the easier beginner lessons and all the cookies those include!
